IQOS Iluma devices and sticks represent an entirely new line, constituting the 4th generation of IQOS devices. Launched in 2021, this lineup features the innovative Smart Core Induction System™ technology, supporting the original IQOS concept of heating specially designed Terea tobacco sticks from within, using an induction magnetic field. Notably, the new Iluma range eliminates the heating blade in the holder, instead incorporating a blade inside each Terea stick, which heats the stick from the inside through this cutting-edge technology.

The Terea sticks are fully sealed and do not have open access to the tobacco, simplifying the user experience by eliminating the need for cleaning. Additionally, the entire IQOS Iluma lineup incorporates an auto-start function that detects when a stick is inserted and automatically activates the device. Moreover, gesture-based control features have been introduced to enhance device interaction, and the accompanying app offers additional management functionalities and statistics.

One of the primary advantages of IQOS Iluma Prime, in comparison to other IQOS models, is the elimination of the issue where the heating blade might not fit well into the stick, as there is no longer a heating blade. There is no need to replace the blade since, as you may have already guessed, it doesn't exist! Accessories like sticks and brushes for cleaning are gradually becoming a thing of the past, as cleaning is no longer necessary. Each session is extended to 5 minutes (one minute longer than previous models).
